cafe in the heart of old downtown
Trussville, Alabama. We add a touch
of class to the traditional "Meat
and Three" restaurant. Lunch
is served Sunday through Saturday
from 11:00 to 2:00.
Our recipes are
a culmination of the owner's,
their mothers, and friends. These
wonderful
food items have been prepared
by Charlene
and Bill Scharf for 36 plus years.
Vegetables are hand
selected from the Farmer's Market,
and the highest quality of meats are
a priority.
Make a request for
that special "Mama used to make"
dish, and we will oblige the next
time you are in.
Our customers favorite
day is Thursday. The traditional
Southern
Thanksgiving meal is served at lunch.
Our dressing has been said to be
right up there with Mother
and Grandmother's. We sell dressing,
and chicken and dressing from our
"Casserole" freezer the
entire year.
Both Trussville
& Oneonta, Alabama are nice, quaint,
small cities to
visit...
and to top it off while visiting,
don't miss an opportunity to eat
with
us at Cafe on Main.
We are now open on Sundays
for Lunch.
We are no longer open for
dinner
on Thursday
and Friday nights.
